From Sunday morning discussions and weekday spiritual growth groups to Fresh Expressions gatherings in restaurants and around shared meals, our adult ministries are designed to connect people and help people grow together through Christ-centered community.

Women's Spiritual Growth Group
Our aim is to grow in faith, understand God's Word and what it means to us, and to seek opportunities to share God's love with others. Through fellowship and shared experience, this group has deepened its faith and discovered service opportunities in the community and beyond.
All ladies are welcome as we grow together in faith and respond to God's call on our lives.
Faith Café
Participate in wonderful and enlightening conversations. Our Bible studies cover a variety of topics across both the Old and New Testament, using study guides written by notable biblical scholars including Adam Hamilton, Max Lucado, Amy-Jill Levine, and Will Willimon.
We explore the history of the Bible, dive into the lives of biblical icons, and tackle topics that help us understand how God's grace works in mysterious ways — and how important it is to stay consciously connected to God through acts of kindness and community. New members and all guests are welcomed with open hearts and open minds.

Fresh Expressions
Fresh Expressions takes church off campus and into the places where people already gather. Over a meal and good conversation, we share a short, Bible-based story — casual, welcoming, and a great opportunity to invite a friend who might not be connected to a church. Come hungry — for food and for something meaningful.
Parables in Paradise
A relaxed gathering over a meal at a local restaurant, built around a short parable or Bible story. Great for anyone curious about faith without wanting a formal church setting.
Holy Smokes!
A lively conversation group that meets around food and a brief scripture reading — honest questions, no pressure, and a whole lot of good company.
Common Ground Games
Games, food, and a moment of reflection together. A lighter, more playful entry point into community and conversation around faith.
Dinner Party
A free monthly dinner that brings together church members with families from our Song Squad and Early Care Center communities. We share a meal, enjoy good conversation, and close with a brief Jesus story together.
This is one of the warmest expressions of who First SRQ is — a church that genuinely wants to know the people in its orbit, not just the people already in the pews. If you have children in Song Squad or ECC, this gathering is especially for you.
