I’m Proud of You

Most of us long for approval from our parents. God the Father expressed happiness with Jesus when Jesus prayed after his baptism. The Father God was not pleased with Jesus because he had accomplished his mission. Jesus had not even started. The Father loved Jesus simply because Jesus was his son. God loved him unconditionally. God has adopted us into the family of God and loves us unconditionally. Although we strive to please God, we do not have to earn God’s approval. God’s love is a gift. It’s called grace.
