Theme:
When the Grinch realized that he had not stolen Christmas, that the Whos still sang with joy on Christmas morning, he was puzzled. After “he puzzled three hours, till his puzzler was sore,” he realized that “Christmas mean a little bit more.” Then his heart grew three sizes. As a result, he quickly returned all the Christmas presents, decorations, and food to the Whos in Whoville. What did the Whos do? They welcomed him to the Christmas feast and gave him the honor of “carving the roast beast.” Is this story really about forgiveness and reconciliation? Could that be the “little bit more” the Christ child brings?
