“They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, provided it is received with thanksgiving.” (1 Timothy 4:3-4)
I was going to start dieting but then there was Halloween, Pam’s cookies that Eric brought to church, my daughter’s birthday, the church Thanksgiving potluck dinner, the ECC Thanksgiving luncheon, a goody bag with a delicious brownie loaf hanging on my door after the service, the Thanksgiving luncheon for those experiencing homelessness at First Baptist, then Thanksgiving with the family, another birthday celebration the day after….
