We welcome you to connect with our church family through Bible studies, small groups, and the United Methodist Women. See the information below for meaningful ways to get to know others in the congregation and the community.
Study/Bible Groups
During the fall, winter, and spring the group meets in person and via zoom on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30 p.m., in Room 104 in the Family Life Center.
For more information on the group, contact Susan Quigley (susanq1@verizon.net; 401-935-0260). Enjoy the study, fellowship and friendship.

Small Groups
Sunday morning classes are just one of the opportunities for adult education and fellowship. Classes frequently have service projects which share their love with others. The intergenerational classes extend an open invitation to everyone and invite you to attend regularly or occasionally.
Christian Fellowship 9:30 a.m. | Room 105/Zoom in the Family Life Center
The Book Club – open to everyone – meets on the fourth Monday of the month for January – June and September – December at 10 a.m. in Room 104/Zoom in the Family Life Center. Newcomers are always welcome.
Are you a writer who longs for a group to connect with? Word Weavers International has a Sarasota group that meets on the fourth Sunday at 2 p.m. While Word Weavers is a Christian-based group, all writers are welcome. Word Weavers has a tried-and-true formula for sharpening the skills of its members, turning out published authors who go on to win acclaim and awards. If you are a writer who is not afraid to critique and be critiqued in an encouraging and non-threatening environment, come join us.

United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith (previously United Methodist Women/UMW) is a community of women of all ages. We seek to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that we can inspire, influence, and impact local and global communities.

Our UWF group has approximately 60 members. We have 3 smaller subgroups and women not in these groups are Members-at-Large.
The unit of UWF meets as a group each first Tuesday of October through April in Room 104 of the Family Life Center and on Zoom. Information regarding the meetings and other activities of the unit are published in the weekly church e-newsletter and in the service bulletins.
We have three Member Circles – two of specific membership and one of membership of any member in the group. The two with specific membership meet regularly and the other meets at times related to specific calendar events. For more information on the Circles, contact Audrey Laue.
This ministry provides loving outreach in a myriad of ways, including a baby shower for Mothers Helping Mothers and Christmas gift bags for homebound church members.
Esther Circle supports a young student through COPA. The group also supports Children
First, Resurrection House, and other local charities. As with all of the UMW groups, they
welcome new members.
This ministry emphasizes “people helping people.” Meetings often include experienced
speakers on health and current events.
